I teach philosophy at Albion College. I have two graduate degrees, a MPhil in Philosophical Theology from Oxford and a MA in Philosophy from Western Michigan University. In the fall of 2013 I will begin a doctoral degree in philosophy at the University of Rochester. My philosophical interest range quite widely, but I am especially interested in epistemology, metaphysics, mind, and some questions concerning language and logic. For more complete details, see my curriculum vitae.

My lovely wife is also an academic and is currently a doctoral candidate in the College of Education at Michigan State University.
